Prices of petroleum products have been raised between 10.5 per cent and 19.7 per cent for the month of July by the government due to the increase of oil prices at the international markets.
According to the official figures the price of petrol has been increased by Rs5.92 per litre or 10.5 per cent to Rs62.13, HOBC by Rs8.50 per litre or 12.1 per cent to Rs78.78, light diesel oil Rs6.94 per litre or 14.5 per cent to Rs54.94, kerosene oil Rs7.48 per litre to Rs59.35 per litre.

KARACHI: Petroleum reserves in Pakistan’s refineries have dropped to an alarming level, with supplies for only 7 days left, Oil Companies Advisory Committee secretary general S. Zaidi told Geo news on Thursday.
Zaidi said the country will have 30-day oil reserves after getting an oil shipment of 25000 tons on May 10. he said Pakistan’s refineries are currently refining 4000 tons of oil on a daily basis while the demand has reached 4700 tons.
He said Pakistan has 15-day diesel reserves and 19-day furnace oil reserves.
