KARACHI: Petroleum reserves in Pakistan’s refineries have dropped to an alarming level, with supplies for only 7 days left, Oil Companies Advisory Committee secretary general S. Zaidi told Geo news on Thursday.
Zaidi said the country will have 30-day oil reserves after getting an oil shipment of 25000 tons on May 10. he said Pakistan’s refineries are currently refining 4000 tons of oil on a daily basis while the demand has reached 4700 tons.
He said Pakistan has 15-day diesel reserves and 19-day furnace oil reserves.
